weekend experimenting, photoshop cs2, 60 min

mostly this helped me figure out some photoshop hotkeys:
. '[' and ']' decrease/increase brush size (jesus this took me forever to figure out)
. when using brush, hold down the left ALT key to pick a colour off the canvas (fhsdfhsss)
. 'd' defaults foreground/background to black/white, 'x' switches bg and fg colours, useful for greyscale speedpainting
. more obvious ones: ctrl +/- for zoom, spacebar + cursor to drag canvas around

must be a key for switching between preset brushes >____>

so now the only thing i hold against photoshop is no multiple ctrl+z and inability to mimic watercolour. we are heading towards a possible reconciliation!

I also dislike the fact that you have to go into "action" to undo repeatedly!

Oh my~ I never knew about a bunch of those shortcuts. O:

By the by, what do you mean by no multiple ctrl+z?

Multiple undo? 'Cause that seems to work fine in mine. But, I'm probably misunderstanding. ^^;

I've switched and changed so many of the settings to custom keys and tablet buttons that I probably changed it long ago and forgot. ;w; <3

Actually, if you go in the Edit -> Prefferences ->General menu, you can choose another Redo key and this will give you the ability to undo multiple times ^_^

By the way, this is a speedpainting? Looks too pretty :drool: amazing as always :heart:

I am not even a huge fan of Ulquiorra and yet I totally LOVE this. You did a fabulous job on him!

I'm used to button-mashing ctrl+z many times to undo about 10 brushstrokes (in OC). In Photoshop I keep the History palette open and tap the actions one by one to undo what I've painted ;_;

!!! custom settings, never thought about that. Thanks for the idea :D

orz it never occured to me. I'll try that out when I get home, thanks so much <3

It took about an hour, I quit after realizing I was blending too much xD always happens orz. I think I'll expand the canvas and work on it longer.

haha yeah~ I remember vaguely hating the PS settings, when I first got it long ago.

After getting my tablet, I had gone in and messed with sooo many things. xD Now the second button on my pen does all of my undo function. I couldn't live without it. ;__; :heart: I hope you get it set up the way you like. ^__^!

YES. however I've just been told you can customize your own undo/redo hotkeys (edit > preferences > general) xD;; *fails*
